Inspired by the man who values freedom, creativity, and innovation, Antonio Luna describes his muse as the maverick who pushes boundaries and is driven by the thrill of discovery.
Antonio’s designs are deeply influenced by art and history. Clean lines and an unexpected use of color pay homage to the works of Modernist architect Luis Barragan, and the muralists of his native Mexico. He also references the archetypes of classic tailoring, melding the refinement of European bespoke tradition, the structure of military uniforms, and the ease of American sportswear. The results achieved are special-occasion garments that convey the modern aesthetic of today’s creative man.
Antonio Luna’s commitments to quality fabrics and craftsmanship also encompass standards for worker rights, wages, and workplace safety. These values are consistent with the ideals of the conscious consumer for whom ethics and aesthetics are of equal importance. For these reasons, garments are locally manufactured in the San Francisco Bay Area in small sustainable quantities.
